Biography:
Marcy joined AKT LLP in 1995, where she works with a wide range of clients, including private equity, financial lending, distributors, manufacturers, and other closely held businesses. Her tax consulting is concentrated primarily on complex business returns, a well as the integral tax planning associated with consolidated corporations, and tiered partnerships. Marcy has a special interest and expertise in estate planning and estate tax returns, including estate inheritance returns, trusts, and gift tax. Marcy received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Portland State University. Marcy is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. She’s currently on the board of Estate Planning Council of Portland, and serves as chair of the annual seminar planning committee. Marcy lives in Tigard, Oregon with her husband, David. In their spare time, they like to travel and explore new countries.
